- Tonto's Horse was called Scout, do I have to tell you that the Lone Ranger's horse was Silver???
- The Lone Ranger's Mask is made from his dead brother's vest

- The Lone Ranger never killed anyone on any or his radio or tv shows
- Kemo Sabe supposedly means soggy bush in the Navaho language (kemosabe) but according to humorist Dave Barry, Kemo Sabe was derived from a boy's summer camp in Michigan owned by the director's uncle. There was a camp in Michigan in the 30s called "Ke Mo Sah Bee" so maybe he wasn't joking .....anyway, the Tewa Indian name for friend is "kema" and sabe means "Apache" . So, your guess is as good as mine, kemo sabe.

- Hopalong Cassidy's given name was "Bill", the nickname Hopalong came from Hoppy getting shot in the leg in the first movie of the series. When Hoppy is questioned about his limp he says something to the effect, "I'll manage to hop along".
- Hopalong Cassidy was the first image to appear on a lunchbox in 1950, probably starting the trend of merchandising in Hollywood.
