THE APRICOT MARTINI
Get an early start on your summer fruit cocktails

Ingredients: Peach Vodka, Apricot Brandy, Apricot Nectar, Lemon Juice, Agave Syrup, Drunken Dried Apricots

National Apricot Day is January 9th which makes it a very good day to enjoy an Apricot Martini! Though the holiday falls in the winter it's easy enough to make this martini because dried apricots abound all year round!

Originally from China, Apricots have been around for more than 4,000 years.

Some Apricot Facts:
Apricots are high in vitamin A and B, low in fat, high in beta-carotene and provide a good source of potassium.
Dried apricots contain over 40 percent sugar.
Apricots are part of the same family as your garden rose, the Rosaceae family.
Apricot kernels are poisonous until roasted.
