THE BUTTERFINGER MARTINI
Nobody better put a finger on my Butterfinger Martini!
Ingredients: DeKuyper Buttershots, Godiva Chocolate Liqueur, Half & Half, Butterfingers
I love Butterfingers. There's something about that crunchy, nutty interior that has always made it one of my favorite candy bars. I used to love the crunch but I also loved that you could eat off the chocolate and then slowly dissolve that buttery middle slowly in your mouth.
This Butterfinger-Tini gives you mouth that same taste sensation - lots of rich buttery sweetness surrounded by deep chocolate goodness. Now it's got booze too and you just can't ask for more than that!
A Little Butterfinger History:
Butterfingers were invented by the Curtiss Candy Company of Chicago, Illinois, in 1923, who ran a public contest to name the new candy bar. The name came from the term "butterfinger", denoting someone who was clumsy and couldn't hold on to objects with their fingers. Owned by Standard Brands, they merged with Nabisco in 1981 and then just Butterfinger and Baby Ruth were bought by Nestle in 1990.
