Ingredients: Captain Morgan's Spiced Rum, Lemon Juice, Orange Curacao, Simple Syrup, Sugar, Cinnamon
Inspired by the Crusta, the Cable Car was created in 1996 by Tony Abou-Ganim as the signature cocktail for the Starlight Room in the Drake Hotel in San Francisco.
It's very much like the Prohibition era Side Car which uses Cognac in place of the rum.
Tony, by the way, once worked at
Po, a restaurant owned in those days by a young, unknown chef named Mario Batali!
