THE CANDIED PECAN MUDSLIDE MARTINI
A classic mudslide goes a little nuts.
Ingredients: Candied Pecan Liqueur*, Bailey's Irish Cream, Kahlua, Candied Pecans
For this martini you're going to need my recipe for home made Candied Nutz as well as my recipe for home made Candied Pecan Liqueur. You can go out and buy Candied Pecans but making your own is really easy and much cheaper as well as much fresher!
As for the Candied Pecan Liqueur there is nothing out there that comes close to my recipe - the home made pecan liqueur I developed is rich in that great caramelized sugar and toasted nut flavor that I've never found in another commercial liqueur.
A classic Mudslide is equal parts of vodka, Kahlua, Bailey's and Cream. I replaced the vodka and the cream with 2 parts of the Candied Pecan Liqueur for a less creamy version as I already had two versions of a candied pecan cocktail that used cream. The Bailey's brought enough creaminess to the party already.
