THE CARROT CAKE MARTINI
This is how you get people to eat their carrots - they drink them!
Ingredients: Cake Vodka, Carrot Juice, Cream Cheese Frosting, Cinnamon, Carrots, Raisins
Since Medieval times, carrots have been added to cakes to sweeten them and add moisture. Carrot cake became a popular recipe during World War II when sugar was being rationed. Also sometimes referred to as Passion Cake, carrot cake is now one of the most popular cakes, along with Red Velvet and Chocolate.
Carrots are very high in sugar, as well as fiber and beta-carotene, and this martini is surprisingly sweet. The cake vodka adds the remainder of the sweetness necessary to bring the carrot cake flavor and a touch of cinnamon adds the spicy touch. Topping the whole cake experience off is the cream cheese frosting rim!
Go ahead and have your veggies - just have them in a happy hour way!
