So, why do I call this the CRANBERRY A-GO-GO MARTINI? Because it's made with whiskey and my pop culture brain immediately thought of the famous Whiskey A GO GO, the famous nightclub on The Strip (Sunset Blvd.) in L.A.
The Whiskey opened in 1964 and most of the icons of Rock & Roll played there or wandered in at one time or another during it's heyday in the 60s and 70s. I know, the only thing that really has to do with martinis is both involve booze but that's how my brain rolls these days.
That being said, if you're a Jack Daniels fan this Cranberry Martini is a perfect Thanksgiving cocktail for you! It brings in the cranberry element of Thanksgiving dinner in a whole new way!
