Cupid's Kiss Martini - A Valentine Martini

Ingredients: Raspberry Vodka, White Chocolate Liqueur, Heavy Cream, Chambord, Pink and White Sprinkle, Raspberry Fruit Roll-ups

This raspberry and cream martini is a deliciously sweet concoction that even Cupid could enjoy. I'm talking the real Cupid here, not the modern cherub often associated with St. Valentine's Day.

Let's face it, the real Cupid was an adult male God! Cupid is the Latin name for the god of desire and erotic love. The word Cupid comes from the Latin cupido which means desire. Cupid was also known as Amor ("Love") in Roman mythology and he was the son of Venus and Mars, the Goddess of Love and the God of War! Now if that's not the combination for romantic love, what is??

In Greek mythology he was known as Eros the god of sexual love and beauty. Eros is derived from the Greek word for intimate love. Again, in Greece, he was the son of the Goddess of Love (Aphrodite) and the God of War (Ares)!

Let's face it, the real Cupid was The Gangsta of Love and I bet he would have loved a this lovely pink cocktail after a hard day of uniting lovers and jump starting romances!
