THE DIVA BOOMER MARTINI
For Martini Lovin' Ladies of a Certain Age (like me!)
Ingredients: Berry Vodka, Chambord, Coconut Rum, Half & Half, Cinnamon, Drunken Cherries Recipe, Pink Sugar
I've had a few companies, groups and individuals contact me to create a unique martini for an upcoming special event. I enjoy this because it combines a few of my passions - art, martinis and writing!
I do charge a fee for this - generally starting around $100 to $500, depending on whether or not they want to own the rights to the art and/or the martini recipe and want to have exclusive rights.
If, as in this case, the recipe was donated to the cause I retain all rights and don't allow reprinting of the recipe after the event.
This martini recipe was created for a baby boomer women's group retreat. I created the martini with the traits of the group in mind - relating those traits to particular ingredients. I then typed up the ingredients and why I used them (cinnamon for this recipe was because these women are spicy!) and send that list with the original recipe and the image for the recipe card.
The companies then serve their custom martini at their event, hand out the recipes cards and put their own marketing message on the back along with the ingredients and why they were used! It's a fun way to give your employees or members a wonderful memory while keeping your brand out there in a fun way!
