THE EASTER EGG MARTINI
Who says adults can hunt for Easter eggs?
Ingredients: Chocolate Vodka, Orange Juice, Cream, Egg White, Chocolate Syrup, Jelly Bellies, Coconut
This Easter Egg Martini was inspired by old fashioned Chocolate Egg Creams I used to get as a kid. Though traditional egg creams don't actually contain any egg they always have a nice head of foam and great fizz from the phosphate that soda fountains used in them.
I substituted some pasteurized egg whites in place of the phosphate here and used cream but this martini really lives up to the name "chocolate egg cream" and the playful green coconut "grass" rim brings to mind digging through an Easter basket looking for those elusive little candy eggs that always fell through the cellophane grass.
