Celebrate English Toffee Day without a dental hassle!
Ingredients: Dooley's Toffee Liqueur, Castries Peanut Rum Creme Liqueur, Dark Creme de Cacao, Salt, Chocolate Syrup, Caramel Syrup, Nuts
National English Toffee Day is January 8th and being that close to the holidays it might be wise to refrain from eating more sticky candy so why not enjoy your English Toffee in liquid form instead?
Toffee is a delectable candy made primarily of butter and sugar which is heated to create either a soft or a hard caramel. English Toffee is traditionally topped with a rich chocolate coating and almonds or other nuts.
In my English Toffee Martini you get all the flavors of this wonderful, rich candy but you get to keep your filings. The Dooley's Toffee Liqueur is, of course, perfect for this cocktail but, if you can't find it you can substitute another creamy caramel liqueur like Bailey's Caramel Cream.
