I have created a very wild martini to celebrate the emergence of the martini as THE designer cocktail:
The National Martini Day Martini.
This wild martini is an explosion of lip puckering watermelon and peach with some extra sour from fresh grapefruit juice with a - get this - watermelon flavored pop rocks rim! It's daring, it's totally fun and it's really tasty!
Even my fuzzy family celebrates National Martini Day but they do it with martinis sans alcohol - Pixel with her Bow Wow Martini and StinkyTinkyCat with Purr-fect Cat Meow-Tini created for him.
