THE LEMON CHIFFON PIE MARTINI
Lemoncello gets the pie treatment
Ingredients: White Rum, Lemoncello, Heavy Cream, Lemon Juice, Powdered (confectioner's) Sugar, Whipped Cream, Candied Lemon Peel
Have you discovered Lemoncello (limoncello) yet? It's a wonderful lemon flavored Italian liqueur that is popping up all over the cocktail world and it's delicious! I make my own Lemoncello on a regular basis. You can find my recipe for making home made Lemoncello Liqueur on the Lemoncello Martini Page.
The Lemoncello combined with the rum and heavy cream creates a true lemon chiffon pie experience and the whipped cream dollop on top is the final touch for this pie martini.
I like to add a little Candied Lemon Peel on top for garnish and I serve this up often for dessert. It's much easier to make than a real lemon chiffon pie and it tastes better!
