THE LEMON GRAPEFRUIT MARTINI
Lemons and Grapefruits make friends in a martini glass
Ingredients: Graepfruit Vodka, Lemon Juice, Lemon Basil, Sugar, Lemon Drop Sugar Crystals
This Lemon Grapefruit Martini was the result of my love affair with my home made Grapefruit Infused Vodka. I made a nice big bottle from some beautiful pink grapefruits and I was sort of overdosing on Pink Grapefruit Martinis.
Then I ran out of fresh grapefruit juice from those same grapefruits. Nothing compares to fresh squeezed juice from really fresh, ripe fruit so - no - a bottle of can of grapefruit juice would not do.
I did have fresh lemons though so I replaced the grapefruit juice with the fresh lemon juice, added a little bit of Lemon Basil and - voila - the Lemon Grapefruit Martini.
Then I ran out of Grapefruit vodka. So it's back to my HOW TO MAKE YOUR OWN FLAVORED VODKAS article again!
