THE MACAROON COOKIE MARTINI
A classic coconut cookie goes cocktail

Ingredients: Coconut Rum, White Creme de Cacao, Amaretto, Shredded Coconut, Mounds Candy

This martini is like sipping a chocolate covered macaroon - it's creamy and loaded with coconut flavors with a toasted coconut rim that will remind you of a perfectly baked coconut macaroon cookie's crunchy exterior.

The word macaroon comes from the Italian word maccherone, a derivation of ammaccare, which means to crush or beat. The original recipes for macaroons used crushed almonds in the form of almond paste so the French called them macarons. This is why there is a little Amaretto in the martini recipe!

If nothin' says lovin' like something from the oven, then nothing says class like something from a martini glass!
