Did I say Peanut Butter and Jelly Martini? PB & J as a Cocktail? Sure, why not! Though technically not a candy bar or candy martini it is kind of a fun idea so here's my little experiment.
First, if you can find the Castries Peanut Rum Cream liqueur then you'll really get that full nutty flavor of peanut butter. You can get a nice taste from Frangelico - which is more readily available and less expensive to boot.
Next of course you have to get the jelly taste in there. Here I've used grape vodka and grape jelly for the full "lunchbox experience" BUT I have to be honest and admit I really preferred this with strawberry and raspberry. For me grape jelly is just too sweet anymore.
Just substitute your favorite jelly flavor. If you can't find a vodka in your favorite fruit jelly flavor use plain vodka and add more jelly/jam.
This is truly a unique martini and the experience of having one is worth the trouble of making one! Serve some grilled PB & J tea sandwiches on the side.
