Ingredients: Pear Puree, Vodka, Sparkling Cherry Juice, Lemon Juice, Lavender Honey, Powdered Ginger, Pear Slice
See why I called it the Partridge in a Pear Martini? When I stuck the pear slice on it looked just like a partridge ready to dip it's beak in the martini!
The Partridge in a Pear Martini is a great way to get your daily serving of fruit because you're using the whole pear in the puree, not just the juice. The little pinch of ginger powder gives a little spice and heat and the cherry juice and lavender honey sweeten it up and balance out the bitterness of the ground ginger. Make a double batch, you won't want to stop at one.
The tag line - come on, get happy - is because I couldn't help but think of David Cassidy while I was drinking this martini and I was humming this through the entire shaker full:
