I was given a bottle of Castries Peanut Rum Cream liqueur for a gift. I pondered this unusual booze wondering what on earth I could do with it. . . . until I opened my fridge and saw my lovely Reese's Peanut Butter Cups waiting patiently for my next craving.
I grabbed my martini shaker, some chocolate booze and got to work. Ta Da. The Peanut Butter Cup Martini. OMG, this is sinful. And worth every bit of the guilt and threat to my poor soul.
Yes, you can use Frangelico in place of the Castries but it's not quite the same thing - and you can buy Castries online.
Go for it, go on . . . you know you want to. Then go for broke and try my Peanut Butter and Jelly Martini!
