THE POMEGRANATE MARTINI
Made famous by Oprah Winfrey
Ingredients: Citrus Vodka, Cointreau, Pomegranate Juice, Sparkling Water, Lemon, Sugar
The Pomegranate Martini has become really popular after being featured on The Oprah Show and it's one of my favorites because I love the pomegranates.
It can be hard to get this particular martini in some bars because it requires real pomegranate juice. Substituting pomegranate liquors or pomegranate "flavored" juice does not give you that tartness the real juice will.
The real juice is also where the antioxidants are!
I use Pom brand pomegranate juice, it's readily available in most grocery stores and reasonably priced but you can find other brands in heath food stores as well.
The Pomegranate Martini gives you a deep, sexy red colored martini that is a feast for the eyes as well as the palate and brings a rich color to your cocktail party theme as well.
