SCARLETT O'HARA'S FIDDLE-DEE-DEE MARTINI
Here's to eyes in your head and none in your spuds.
Ingredients: Jack Daniels, Lime, Powdered Sugar, Green Food Coloring, Green Sugar Crystals
I can't think of Ireland or St. Patrick's Day without thinking of one of my favorite fictional heroines, Scarlett O'Hara and one of my favorite movies "Gone with the Wind."
Scarlett O'Hara's Fiddle-Dee-Dee Martini is a "martini-ized" Whiskey Sour using lime instead of lemon and powdered sugar instead of a sugar cube. The green coloring is to make the drink the color of Scarlett's eyes and give it that St. Patrick's Day color - you are most welcome to leave it out and just rim the glass in the green sugar crystals if you like. Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn.

According to legend, St. Patrick used the 3-leafed Shamrock to explain the Christian doctrine of the Trinity to the Irish people.
